PALS 2013: Meet the Speakers

LAS VEGAS — The inaugural P&A Leadership Summit will take place on September 16 at Paris Las Vegas, concluding shortly before the annual Industry Summit. This year’s agenda is staffed by an all-star panel of speakers.

Bob Harkins

Harkins will serve as master of ceremonies. He is a compliance expert with a long record of success working with dealers, providers and administrators, agents, manufacturers and industry associations. Harkins is a veteran speaker, having appeared at events such as Industry Summit, Agent Summit and many more.

Scott Eisenberg and Terry Keating

Eisenberg and Keating are executives at Amherst Partners, the firm appointed by the government to steer US Fidelis through bankruptcy. They’ll share the inside story of the downfall of one of the nation’s leading vehicle service contract providers in “US Fidelis: Lessons Learned from the Inside”, a special luncheon presentation that will begin at 12:00 p.m.

Terry O’Loughlin

O’Loughlin is the director of compliance for Reynolds and Reynolds and a well-known attorney and dealer advocate. At 1:40 p.m., he will present Think Like a Regulator, a guide to creating foolproof processes for F&I product sales that can withstand the scrutiny of regulators such as the FTC and CFPB.

Technology Panel

Gregory Arroyo, editorial director of F&I and Showroom and Auto Dealer Monthly magazines, will serve as moderator for “Ahead of the Curve: New F&I Technology”, a panel discussion scheduled for 3:00 p.m. He will be joined by Brent Allen of StoneEagle, Service Payment Plan’s Robert Hymen, Kumar Kathinokkula of F&I Administration Solutions, National Automotive Experts’ Kelly Price and Christina Schrank of NAC.

Agents Panel

At 4:00 p.m., F&I Administration Solutions’ David Trinder will gather four top agents for a panel discussion called Agents on the Industry. This year’s panelists are John Braganini of Great Lakes Companies, United Development Systems (UDS)’s Randy Crisorio, Linda Fisher of Dealer Assurance Group and Dealer Commitment Services Inc.’s Glen Tuscan.

David Westcott

Westcott is the chairman of the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA). He will conclude the P&A Leadership Summit schedule with the evening keynote address, Preserving the Benefits of the Indirect Financing Model, which begins at 5:00 p.m. Westcott is expected to stand in defense of the automotive retail and finance industry that has stood the test of time and continues to benefit dealers and customers today.

The P&A Leadership Summit is a joint production between P&A and F&I and Showroom magazines. Industry Summit attendees can add the P&A Leadership Summit to their registration for an additional fee of $395.
