HANOVER - The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) will host a series of roundtables around the country to gather information on consumers’ experiences when buying or leasing motor vehicles. The Roundtables will explore consumer protection issues related to the sale, financing, and leasing of cars, SUVs, and light trucks.
Tom Hudson and Michael Benoit, attorneys with the firm and the magazine's Legal columnists, have been invited to participate in the first roundtable event. Hudson will serve on a panel discussing how dealer financing works, while Benoit will contribute to a discussion on the use of GPS and starter-interrupt devices in vehicle finance.
Those who would like to attend a roundtable can pre-register by e-mailing a name and affiliation [email protected].
