Wednesday Workshops: New at Agent Summit 2014, for Agency Principals Only

Show organizers are excited to announce a new feature for Agent Summit 2014. As in the past, there will be two full days of content for all Agent Summit attendees. New for 2014 – They have added an extra half-day to the show this year just for Agency Principals. The Wednesday Workshops will be designed specifically for Agency Principals, and will cover the topics most important to them.

Wednesday will begin with a panel discussion titled “Challenges and Opportunities,” moderated by John Braganini, Principal, Great Lakes Companies. The panel will discuss how to take advantage of the recent surge of lease and blended products, the pre-owned dealer market as well as other opportunities for you to be making money! The panelists will be: Rob Glander, CEO and President, GWC Warranty; Jeff Jagoe, Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing, IAS; Rick Meinke, National Sales Manager, ECP; Kelly Price, President, National Automotive Experts (NAE); and Jeff Teuscher, Vice President of Sales, AAGI.

Next, James M. Duggan, M.B.A., J.D., Principal, Duggan Bertsch LLC, will lead an interactive workshop titled, “Exit Strategies – Estate Planning and – Tax Minimization,” tailored for the needs and interests of general agents. Be sure to have your questions ready for this interactive session.

The final session Wednesday will be a unique panel discussion titled, “Model Partnerships,” led by Mike Conley, CEO, Conley Insurance Group. For the first time, you will get to hear General Agents and providers share their expectations about what they look for in an ideal partner. Top agents and providers will lay it all out on the table like you have not heard before. The panelists will be: Rick Kurtz, Senior Vice President, Protective Asset Protection; Jim Maxim, Sr., Chairman, Maxim Automotive; Mike Rosenberg, President, Rosenberg & Associates; and Tony Wanderon, CEO, NAC and FFDS.
