AUSTIN — Organizers of Compliance Summit have released more details for the Texas event, which will be held Nov. 16–17, 2015, at the Hilton Austin Airport Hotel. The format will follow that of the first two conferences, held in Miami last November and in Chicago in April.

“At the first two events, we asked our attendees what drew them to Compliance Summit,” said David Gesualdo, show chair and publisher of Auto Dealer Today and F&I and Showroom magazines. “To a person, they wanted information. … They wanted to leave with a plan that would protect their dealership from the regulatory onslaught.”

To achieve that, Gesualdo said, the Texas Compliance Summit agenda will be divided into four parts: (1) Rules and Regulations, (2) Your Responsibilities, (3) Easy-to-Implement Processes and Controls and, finally, (4) Is It Compliant?, an open forum in which attendees can pose challenging questions and scenarios to the attorneys, compliance experts and other Compliance Summit speakers.

Each of the first three parts will include a featured speaker followed by a panel discussion. The event will lead off with a reception and welcome address on the evening of Monday, Nov. 16, and continue with a full day of sessions on Tuesday, including a keynote and featured luncheon session, and conclude with the Is It Compliant? panel discussion.

“Review, commit, plan, debate and network: It’s a winning formula,” Gesualdo said. “We have two months to go, but, frankly, we can’t wait to get started.”

Registration for Texas Compliance Summit is open at the event’s website. Attendees who register on or before October 26 will enjoy a $100 discount. For sponsorship and exhibition opportunities, contact Eric Gesualdo via email or at 727-612-8826.
