TORRANCE, Calif. — Organizers of Industry SummitCompliance SummitAgent Summit and the P&A Leadership Summit announced that all four shows will offer Automotive Compliance Specialist certification through Automotive Compliance Education (ACE) in 2017. Registered attendees are invited to participate in the certification component for no additional charge.

“In our industry, at this moment in time, compliance is paramount. It is incumbent upon us all to get up to speed,” said David Gesualdo, show chair and publisher of Auto Dealer Today, F&I and ShowroomAgent Entrepreneur and P&A magazines. “ACE certification is not easy, but it is worthwhile, and I strongly encourage every attendee — dealers, dealership personnel, agents and executives — to participate.”

ACE certification consists of a four-hour review session followed by a two-hour, 200-question exam. The curriculum covers a wide range of federal standards and enforcement actions with an emphasis on compliant and transparent sales and F&I processes. Attendees who complete the review and earn a grade of 80% or higher on the exam will receive a framed “Automotive Compliance Specialist” diploma and access to ACE’s online resources.

“ACE is excited to offer its compliance training and certification as part of all Summit events in 2017,” said ACE’s executive director, Gil Van Over III. “The Compliance Specialist curriculum is an intense and comprehensive approach to understanding the compliance requirements dealerships face today. We look forward to offering the ACE Compliance Specialist Certification to this year’s Summit participants.”
