LAS VEGAS — Organizers of the 2018 Agent Summithave announced the release of the full agenda for next month’s event, which will begin Sunday, May 20, at the Venetian & Palazzo Resort Hotel Casinos in Las Vegas.

The four-day calendar reflects the work of the event’s advisory board, which is comprised of leading agents and F&I industry executives. The board’s long-serving chairman, Randy Crisorio, said “I am really thrilled about this year’s topics and speakers, but it’s the secret content yet to be revealed that has me jazzed about Agent Summit VIII and its most appropriate theme: ‘MONEY’. This is a CAN’T MISS-MUST ATTEND event for every F&I Agent.”

The foundation of the agenda is 10 featured presentations and panel discussions devoted to a wide range of pressing topics, including agency-building, dealer recruitment, F&I coaching, compliance, and technology. Two sessions, “Key Provisions of Agent Agreements” and “Preparing to Exit,” will be open only to agent principals as part of an exclusive Monday-morning block that also includes a breakfast and open-forum discussion.

The schedule begins with the return of Automotive Compliance Specialist certification by Automotive Compliance Education (ACE). The course, which includes a review session and exam and is offered for no charge to registered attendees, begins at noon and will end no later than 5:00 p.m., just in time for the first of three consecutive evening receptions.

Crisorio will deliver a welcome address at midday Monday and closing remarks at the close of the agenda. He will introduce this year’s opening keynote speaker, AUL President Jimmy Atkinson. This year’s motivational keynote address will be delivered by internationally recognized self-discipline expert Rory Vaden on Tuesday morning.

The agenda closes with the sixth annual Reinsurance Symposium, an Agent Summit fixture designed to get agents up to speed on the latest developments in profit participation and connect them with leading figures in the segment.

Show chair David Gesualdo, the publisher of Agent Entrepreneur and F&I and Showroom, said 2018 is shaping up to be the biggest event in Agent Summit history and will undoubtedly be the most valuable.

“Year after year, our advisory board outdoes itself in shaping an agenda that addresses the challenges and opportunities independent general agents face every day,” he said. “Their efforts are greatly appreciated — not just by us, but our attendees and speakers as well — and we can’t wait to greet them, and you, in Las Vegas.”
