NADA – NADA Chairman Rhett Ricart released the following statement in response to the Senate passage of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act:

Our job at NADA is to work tirelessly to make sure that when this economy opens up again, franchised dealers will lead the recovery on Main Street, and that’s exactly what we are doing.

“Franchised dealers across the country are extremely grateful for the Senate’s work to pass the CARES Act without delay. The Senate bill is extremely beneficial for dealerships of all sizes and includes generous and unprecedented provisions to help provide liquidity for dealerships and to help businesses keep their employees on the payroll. These are the things that will matter the most in the days and weeks ahead for our employees and their families.”

“Since the beginning of this process, NADA has forcefully advocated for the broadest possible business relief that will helps dealerships retain employees and continue operations. Our job at NADA is to work tirelessly to make sure that when this economy opens up again, franchised dealers will lead the recovery on Main Street, and that’s exactly what we are doing.”
