ORANGE COUNTY – Since its publication two years ago, Joe Verde’s book for auto dealers and managers, “A Dealer’s Guide to Recovery and Growth in Today’s Market” is now in its fourth print run. In the new edition, Verde provides an update for 2011 with a focus on growing a dealership in today’s challenging market.

Verde’s book is a step-by-step guide designed to help dealers have a record year, every year.

“You have to learn how to improve the processes that generate growth, and improve the skills of the people responsible to follow your processes,” Verde said. “That old saying is correct, ‘You can’t keep doing what you’ve always done and grow.’ Growth requires continuous improvement in the key areas I cover in my book.”

“A lot of dealers ask if they can grow in this new economy,” Verde said. “I tell them absolutely they can, because growth is a process – and that’s what the book is about.”

The book’s arrival in the summer of 2009 provided much needed help for dealers and managers who were looking for a recovery plan in the wake of the global economic downturn. Now two years later, Verde understands that it’s time for dealers to focus on growth.
