NAPA, Calif. – The Napa Chamber of Commerce today named AUL Corp, one of the nation’s leading automotive finance and insurance (F&I) providers, as the 2019 Large Business of the Year, at their 131st Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon at Westin Verasa in Napa.
Recognizing individuals and companies that go above and beyond to support their local community, the Chamber has more than 900 company members and honors winners each year in six categories; Citizen of the Year, Ambassador of the Year, Customer Service Person of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, and Member of the Year.A Chamber member since 1990, AUL has grown to more employ more than 130 local employees and was a runner up in the 2018 competition. One of the primary considerations for AUL’s award is their innovative philanthropy program. Comprised exclusively of non-management employees who identify and select where to direct the firm’s contributions, the committee was established in 2012 to foster and enhance the firm’s connection with the local community.
Since then, AUL has contributed more than $500,000 to local and regional charitable organizations.According to Travis Stanley, Chamber President/CEO, AUL’s growing impact on the greater Napa and Sonoma communities is immeasurable. “AUL continues to demonstrate that business, in addition to schools and community organizations, can play a vital role in shaping the neighborhoods in which we live,” added Stanley.
