Dubois to Bring LHPH to Dealer Summit
TAMPA, Fla. — Dealer Summit organizers announced that Mark Dubois, president of Dealer Performance and Consulting, will lead a session dedicated to lease here, pay here (LHPH) at the event, which will be held May 3–5, 2016, at the Sheraton Tampa Riverwalk Hotel.
“LHPH has picked up steam over the past couple of years, and we know dealers are looking for ways to multiply their financing options,” said David Gesualdo, show chair and publisher of Auto Dealer Today and F&I and Showroom. “We feel blessed to have an expert of Mark’s caliber on board to cover this important and timely topic.”
Dubois will present “Is Lease Here, Pay Here a Viable Alternative to Buy Here, Pay Here Financing?” on Thursday, May 5, at 11:30 a.m. The session is expected to cover differences in deal structure between the two models as well as the numerous advantages relating to compliance and tax savings LHPH brings to dealers and car buyers.
Having worked as a consultant and nationally recognized expert in the BHPH segment for the past 12 years, Dubois said he looked forward to introducing more dealers to the relatively new LHPH model.
“One of the things I’m very careful to point out to dealers is that I’m not a lawyer, so I can’t give you legal advice, and I’m not an accountant, so I can’t give you tax advice,” Dubois said. “But from an operations point of view, there are some very good reasons to consider leasing as opposed to financing.”
Registration for Dealer Summit is now open at the event’s website. Dealers who register by April 1 will enjoy a $100 early-bird discount.
