Peritus Portfolio Services Chooses PayNearMe to Enable Cash Payments

Mountain View, Calif. — Peritus Portfolio Services, an auto finance receivables company, has implemented PayNearMe's - the cash transaction network - service that allows consumers to make cash payments for goods and services at thousands of retail locations nationwide. Now Peritus customers can make car repayments with cash for the first time.

Prior to PayNearMe, Peritus only accepted funds electronically, over the phone and through the mail; none of these options allowed for easy cash payments. With PayNearMe, Peritus customers now receive a PayNearMe Card or PaySlip that can be printed or displayed on their smartphones. They then bring their cash and PayNearMe Card or PaySlip to the register of any one of more than 8,600 7-Eleven and ACE Cash Express stores in PayNearMe’s network. Cash transactions are completed within seconds, and Peritus customers’ accounts are credited instantly.

“PayNearMe makes cash collections secure, efficient and practical,” said Gary Perdue, President of Peritus Portfolio Services. “It helps us improve our payment process while enhancing the customer experience. Now our customers can make their repayments in cash without any hassle or high fees.”

“Peritus needed a secure cash payment alternative that wouldn’t require additional resources to implement,” said John Minor of PayNearMe. “Because our systems are tightly integrated with the registers at 7-Eleven and ACE Cash Express stores throughout the country, PayNearMe gives Peritus 24x7 access to thousands of conveniently located cash payment locations.”
