TORRANCE, Calif. — Organizers of Warranty Chain Management Conference (WCM) announced today that PCMI Corp.’s Mark Nagelvoort and OnPoint Warranty’s Rob Christian will host a presentation at WCM Experience, a free virtual counterpart to the annual live event.
WCM is a conference that informs and inspires executives dedicated to the advancement of protection products in a large number and wide variety of industries. Every company that offers warranties and service agreements — be they legally mandated, optional or extendable — can benefit from sharing challenges, opportunities, and best practices in the forum WCM provides.
“How Adaptable Software + Third Party Resources Can Help Manufacturers Improve Warranty Program Performance,” a virtual presentation sponsored by PCMI Corp., will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 11:30 a.m. (PST).
Innovative warranty software platforms and warranty administration companies are revolutionizing manufacturers’ abilities to quickly improve performance of domestic and global OEM warranty programs. Many manufacturers are finding that the combination of highly flexible software specifically designed to manage warranty programs, along with a responsive warranty administrator with automated warranty support processes and seasoned warranty management can transform OEM warranty operations in short timeframes with minimal cost. Learn how to implement this cutting-edge strategy in lieu of replacing your in-house warranty systems and resources.
“Manufacturers are facing many new challenges that administrators can help automate and streamline with adaptable technology," said PCMI Corp.’s president and CEO, Mark Nagelvoort. “We are excited to speak on this topic with Rob.”
A seasoned executive in the industry, Nagelvoort has dedicated 30+ years to developing software administration systems. He specializes in using his expansive knowledge to help customers establish all phases of their extended warranty programs including sales, policy and claim administration, risk management, and offshore reinsurance within PCMI’s PCRS software.
“We are entering into a new era for OEM warranty programs – manufacturers are winning big, boosting customer satisfaction and product repeat purchases by using this powerful combination of flexible warranty software and warranty administrator support,” said Rob Christian, president and chief risk officer of OnPoint Warranty. “Historically, manufacturer warranty and service operations have generally been inadequately resourced, driving low customer satisfaction with service experiences. Now, warranty teams can reach new performance heights without facing expensive, time-consuming total system overhauls and without having to attract expensive, hard-to-find warranty management professionals.”
Having spent 25 years in the warranty industry working for a variety of companies including GE, Harbor Freight Tools, and Sears, Christian was also a founding partner of Service Net Solutions, which is now AIG Warranty. He holds a B.A. in Marketing from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from the University of North Carolina.
Whether your company offers warranty financing; actuarial, compliance, technology, or repair services; support systems, or call center services, you will find value in this unique event. For more information on the virtual WCM Experience, visit the event’s website.
