On Tuesday at 11:30am, Tom O’Neil will be taking a closer look at Captive Coercion. In this session, O’Neil will review the growing practice of lenders trying to tie products into their loan approval. Agents will receive timely advice on what they can do to defend their business.

O’Neil is the Founder of O’Neil Financial Services Agency, Inc., an industry leader in automotive finance and insurance products and training, which was recently acquired by Brown & Brown Inc., the nation’s 7th largest insurance intermediary. While in the midst of building his company, O’Neil earned an MBA from Ohio University, and was awarded the highest National MBA Honor Society status. He views education and personal development as key components to running a successful business and has received many awards, including Current Allstate Dealer Services Co-Chair Sales & Product Agent Council, Allstate GAP Agent of the Year, Protective Insurance Elite 8 and National Auto Care Agent of the Year. Among his other accomplishments, O’Neil has been a speaker for NADA 20 groups, an AFIP instructor at Sinclair Community College, and a moderator at many industry events.
