Eleven U.S. auto dealers won Edmunds’ top honors in its annual awards for outstanding customer service.

The company honored 133 dealers overall, but the 11 received Edmunds’ Five Star Premier award.

The online car-shopping resource said auto consumers gravitated to “positive shopping experiences” last year in the midst of affordability challenges.

The awards are based on customer reviews of dealerships, which must have gotten at least 30 last year to qualify for consideration, along with participating in Edmunds’ Dealer Partner program and earning an average 4 ½-star rating on Edmunds for the year.

The winners list is organized by state.
