There are many different types of products in the Theft category. Which ones do you support and why?

NAE offers several different Theft deterrent options with various terms, levels of coverage’s and applications. We offer both window etching stencils and metal marking body labels. In addition, we have both standard theft benefits as well as “enhanced” benefits, including deductible reimbursement, car rental, towing and storage benefits and more.

Which type of Theft products do you not support and why?

None that we are aware of. We try to be as flexible as we can and are willing to look at any creative customer benefit for our dealers. If it offers protection to the customer and is a good feature for a dealer to offer, we look to assist in creating a product that meets those requests.

In which circumstances do you encourage dealers to sell each type of Theft product?

We don’t really encourage or discourage a particular product. Each dealer has a preferred approach, term and benefit amount that they prefer. We try to be as nimble and flexible to meet the dealer’s needs.

How does the future look for Theft products in the F&I Suite and which type of Theft products do you believe will be the most successful?

Again, our focus is on creating a program that suits the dealer’s needs. If there is a particular structure that a dealer prefers, we will work to create a program that helps the dealer achieve his/her goals. Our flexibility and creativity is what dealers and agents have come to appreciate.
