LAS VEGAS — The 2013 P&A Leadership Summit will include a panel of top agents, organizers announced this week. This year’s panel, “Agents on the Industry,” will be staffed by at least three high-profile agency heads.

As of press time, the confirmed participants are John Braganini of Great Lakes Companies, United Development Systems (UDS)’s Randy Crisorio and Glen Tuscan of Dealer Commitment Services Inc. F&I Administration Solutions’ David Trinder will serve as moderator.

“The agents panel is a forum for discussion and debate, but it’s also our attendees’ best chance to take the temperature, so to speak, of the agent segment,” said David Gesualdo, show chair and publisher of F&I and Showroom and Auto Dealer Monthly magazines. “This is an all-star group with an all-star moderator. If product providers and administrators don’t learn something from this session, they weren’t paying attention.”

“Agents on the Industry” is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 16 at Paris Las Vegas. The session follows an earlier panel, “Ahead of the Curve: New F&I Technology,” and concludes shortly before an evening keynote address from David Westcott, chairman of the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA).

Topics to be addressed include new developments in the agent segment, new technology and product trends, reinsurance and strengthening the dealer/agent/provider relationship. The panel also will offer their reactions to the event’s luncheon presentation, “US Fidelis: Lesson Learned From the Inside.” That session will offer an examination of the 2010 downfall of US Fidelis, once a leading provider of vehicle service contracts, by two representatives of the firm appointed to steer the company through bankruptcy.

“To describe this as a ‘can’t-miss’ session would be an understatement,” Gesualdo said. “As far as I’m concerned, it’s a ‘won’t-miss.’”

The P&A Leadership Summit is a joint production between P&A and F&I and Showroom magazines. Industry Summit attendees can add the P&A Leadership Summit to their registration for an additional fee of $395.
