Crisorio, Kamal to Chair 2017 Compliance Summit
DALLAS — Organizers of the annual Compliance Summit announced that Brian Crisorio and Tariq Kamal will serve as co-chairs for this year’s event, which will be held as part of Industry Summit Sept. 11–14, 2017, at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Dallas.
“Brian and Tariq have been part of the Compliance Summit team since the event’s inception. They know the curriculum, they are ACE-certified, and they are plugged into the rapidly evolving regulatory climate,” said David Gesualdo, Industry Summit show chair and publisher of Auto Dealer Today and F&I and Showroom. “We are counting on them to deliver a compelling agenda.”
Compliance Summit launched as a series of regional events in 2014. Designed to get dealers, dealership personnel, and industry executives up to speed on the latest requirements for compliant sales, financing and marketing, events have been held in Miami, Austin, Chicago and Las Vegas.
“Compliance continues to be among the hottest topics in automotive front-end operations today, as it should be,” said Crisorio, vice president of United Development Systems Inc. (UDS). “The Dallas edition will prove to be both entertaining and highly informative and I look forward to getting to work on building a can’t-miss agenda!”
Past agendas have featured workshops and panel discussions dedicated to Rules and Regulations, Your Responsibilities, Easy-to-Implement Processes and Controls, and Is It Compliant?, an open forum among attendees and speakers. Keynote speakers have included directors of the Florida, Nevada and Texas state dealer associations and the Chicago chapter of the Better Business Bureau.
“I credit the success of Compliance Summit to our expert speakers and essential content,” said Kamal, who serves as associate publisher of Auto Dealer Today and F&I and Showroom. “We are looking forward to Industry Summit and we hope you will join us.”
Registration for Industry Summit 2017 is open at the event’s website. Attendees who register by Aug. 11 will enjoy a $100 discount. To discuss sponsorship and exhibition opportunities, contact David Gesualdo at (727) 947-4027 or via email.
