Mergers and Acquisitions Expert to Host Agent Summit Session
LAS VEGAS — Gina Cocking of Colonnade Advisors will present “M&A in the F&I Industry,” a special, agent principals-only session at the upcoming Agent Summit, organizers announced. The event will be held May 21–24, 2017, at Paris Las Vegas.
“Mergers and acquisitions are an oft-discussed topic in the agency segment, but the causes and effects are not widely understood,” said David Gesualdo, show chair and publisher of Agent Entrepreneur and F&I and Showroom. “We are honored to welcome Gina Cocking to the Agent Summit stage, and we are looking forward to her insights.”
Cocking currently serves as managing director of Colonnade Advisors. She has also worked as an analyst or executive for Madison Dearborn Partners, J.P. Morgan & Co., Cobalt Finance and Discover Financial Services. Her 45-minute presentation will begin at 11:20 a.m. on Wednesday, May 24, and will mark the final educational session on the Agent Summit agenda.
“2017 is a strong M&A market for F&I companies, especially for those with persistent and quality revenues,” Cocking said. “I am pleased to be joining Agent Summit to discuss the trends we are seeing and the positioning for companies that are considering selling.”
Registration for Agent Summit 2017 is open at the event’s website. Attendees who register by April 21 will enjoy a $100 discount. To discuss sponsorship and exhibition opportunities, contact David Gesualdo at 727-947-4027 or via email.
