Van Over to Serve as Luncheon Speaker at Dallas Compliance Summit
DALLAS — Organizers of the annual Industry Summit announced that Gil Van Over will serve as the luncheon speaker for the Compliance Summit portion of the event, which will be held Sept. 11–14, 2017, at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Dallas.
“Gil Van Over has been among the few true movers and shakers in dealership compliance,” said David Gesualdo, show chair and publisher of Auto Dealer Today and F&I and Showroom. “We are lucky to have him and we look forward to his address.”
Van Over is the founder of gvo3 & Associates and the executive director of Automotive Compliance Education (ACE). His presentation will be part of the “Your Responsibilities” portion of the Compliance Summit agenda, which will also include sessions devoted to “Rules and Regulations” and “Easy-to-Implement Processes and Controls,” as well as “Is It Compliant?,” an open forum among speakers and attendees.
In addition to his speaking role, Van Over will lead the onsite, ACE-sponsored review session and exam for Automotive Compliance Specialist certification, which will be offered free of charge to Industry Summit attendees for the second consecutive year.
“I am honored to be part of the upcoming Compliance Summit,” Van Over said. “This robust and topical event covers a number of compliance-related topics while creating networking opportunities to share ideas and best practices. Included is a must-do ACE certification review and testing session.”
Registration for Industry Summit 2017 is open at the event’s website. Attendees who register by Aug. 11 will enjoy a $100 discount. To discuss sponsorship and exhibition opportunities, contact David Gesualdo at (727) 947-4027 or via email.
