Renault presented a "game plan" to invest $3.17 billion to launch eight models globally, including five in high-value segments, by 2027.

It said it plans to sell one out of every three vehicles as electric or hybrid outside of Europe by then and that it will use two platforms to create customer value and increase the brand's competitiveness:

  • A new Renault Group modular platform dedicated to four different regions: Latin America, North Africa, Türkiye and India
  • A Compact Modular Architecture platform for the D- and E segments, based in South Korea in partnership with Geely.

Its stated goal is to double net revenue per unit sold outside of Europe during the period compared to 2019 for the Renault brand.
