LAS VEGAS — Organizers of the third annual Agent Summit announced that the show, which took place March 4–6 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, set new records for attendance, exhibitors and sponsorships.

More than 550 agents, agency principals, speakers and other attendees convened for the show, up from 150 in 2011 and more than 300 last year. The show was supported by 42 exhibitors — nine more than the previous year — and 72 sponsors, a 20 percent jump from 2012.

“The spirit and the energy of this year’s conference was overwhelmingly positive,” said David Gesualdo, show chair and publisher of F&I and Showroom magazine. “The numbers prove that the idea of a show designed for agents, by agents is no longer a radical concept.”

Gesualdo credited the work of his staff and the draw of the venue as key ingredients to the success of the event. But he saved his highest praise for the Agent Summit advisory board, which was helmed by Randy Crisorio, president and CEO of United Development Systems Inc. (UDS).

“This year’s agenda was our best by far,” Gesualdo said. “Randy and the advisory board did a fantastic job.”

The next Agent Summit is scheduled for March 10–12, 2014, and will be held at Caesars Palace for a third straight year. For exhibition and sponsorship opportunities, contact David Gesualdo at (727) 947-4027 or email hidden; JavaScript is required
