Dealership Managers Join Compliance Summit Panels
LAS VEGAS — With the additions of Iris Spiegel and Dina Wilson of the Larry H. Miller organization and Timbrook Automotive Group, respectively, the upcoming Compliance Summitwill feature working dealership professionals on all three panel discussions, organizers announced Tuesday. The event will be held Aug. 29–30, 2016, at Paris Las Vegas.
Spiegel recently moved from Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Tucson (Ariz.) to serve as compliance manager for Miller Automotive Operations at the company’s Sandy, Utah, headquarters. She will take part in “Where the Rubber Meets the Road,” part of the Easy-to-Implement Processes and Controls portion of the agenda. United Development Systems Inc. (UDS)’s Brian Crisorio will serve as moderator, and they will be joined by Erika Ahern of CNA National, DealerSafeGuardSolutionS’ Doug Fusco and Brian Reed of F&I Express.
Wilson is the F&I director for the Cumberland, Md.-based Timbrook Automotive and the 2012 winner of F&I and Showroom’s F&Idol contest. She served as a panel moderator at the inaugural F&I Think Tank in May and will join “Knowledge Is Power,” a panel discussion centered on Rules and Regulations, at Compliance Summit. The session will be helmed by attorney and compliance expert Michael Maledon and staffed by Bob Balak of Compli, Darin Ramos of Alpha Warranty and EFG Companies’ Steve Roennau.
“My goal will be to help F&I managers take the abstract ‘legalese’ of compliancy and turn it into something very practical that adds value to our dealerships and builds more trust and confidence in our customers,” Wilson said. “We live compliance situations every day and need to know that what we do matters for everyone — protecting the dealership, the customer and ourselves!”
Spiegel and Wilson will be joined as Compliance Summit speakers by Justin Gasman, finance director at McCaddon Cadillac Buick GMC in Boulder, Colo. He was the 2014 F&Idol champion and helped McCaddon earn F&I Pacesetter honors the same year. He served as a panelist for “F&I Top Guns” at F&I Think Tank and will join Auto Dealer Today’s Tariq Kamal, Michael Tuno of ARMD Resource Group and Total Dealer Compliance’s Max Zanan for “Leadership, Teamwork and Accountability,” a panel dedicated to Your Responsibilities, at Compliance Summit.
“Iris, Dina and Justin embody the belief shared by every Compliance Summit speaker: Transparency sells products and keeps customers coming back,” said David Gesualdo, show chair and publisher of Auto Dealer Today and F&I and Showroom. “We are incredibly grateful they have agreed to spend time away from their dealerships to attend our event and share their hard-earned expertise and advice.”
