NCM Associates Teams with Greg Goebel Consulting to Offer Special Finance Training for Dealerships

Overland Park, Kan. - NCM Associates is expanding its educational programming for automotive dealerships with Mastering Special Finance. The two-day class features special finance expert, Greg Goebel of Greg Goebel Consulting and Training. NCM Institute is sponsoring Goebel's training program, designed for NCM's franchised dealer clients who offer special financing options to their customers. Goebel is including a custom inventory review and finance company analysis for every dealership participating in the training program.

According to Goebel, author of the book "The Complete Guide to Special Finance," there is unprecedented demand today for special financing options by borrowers who have lost creditworthiness due to extended unemployment or underemployment - and significant opportunity for car dealers positioned to meet that demand. "There is a great opportunity for car dealers who are prepared to match these shoppers with suitable vehicles and financing," said Goebel. "But if dealers are not following a structured plan and using proven processes they will not be able to maintain compliance, customer service and higher gross profit in their special finance department. The special finance department is the largest dealership profit center not itemized on a factory financial statement."

"The Mastering Special Finance course will assist our franchised dealership clients to optimize their business plans and processes to ensure the greatest returns on this high risk, but potentially very rewarding business strategy," said Garry House, director of the NCM Institute. "The NCMi(R) Center for Automotive Retail Excellence does not currently offer training for this critical area of many automotive retail dealerships, so sponsoring Greg's highly-acclaimed program was a great fit for us both."

The first sponsored Mastering Special Finance course will be conducted January 9-10, 2013 at NCMi's training headquarters in Kansas City. For more information about the class and all the NCM Institute's management training programs for car dealers and their managers, visit www.ncminstitute.com.
