KAR GLOBAL – For the health and safety of our employees, our customers and the communities in which we live and work, KAR Global is halting physical sale operations across North America at all ADESA auction locations, including Simulcast-only sales for at least the next two weeks. As permitted by local, state and provincial directives, we will maintain minimal essential operations at those locations for security purposes and to receive and release vehicles under certain circumstances.
For those essential staff onsite, we will continue to follow all United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Public Health Agency of Canada recommendations on workplace safety, social distancing and enhanced cleaning protocols.
Our broad digital marketplaces and platform businesses remain operational to serve our buyers and sellers, and remain supported by a remote workforce.
We believe this is a temporary safety measure, and that our balance sheet, including our cash position, is strong and we are well positioned to sustain our business and navigate the uncertainty for the foreseeable future.
