The Reynolds and Reynolds Co. announced the agenda for its Retail Summit: Amplify 2024 at Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, Va., from Aug. 19 to Aug. 20.

The first day of the summit welcomes guests with a golf outing on the Robert Trent Jones Jr. course in the afternoon and a reception with dinner in the evening. Day two of the summit starts with a breakfast at 7 a.m. and a personal welcome by Reynolds President Chris Walsh that will include a major announcement.

“We’re extremely excited for the upcoming announcement at our Retail Summit,” Walsh said. “We’ll be addressing a significant aspect of our industry in ways that dealers will be excited to hear about. It truly is what our summit is all about: blazing a trail into the future, together."

Following the announcement, a morning keynote session brings together National Automobile Dealers Association President Mike Stanton, Sheehy Auto Stores  CEO Vince Sheehy, and Ourisman Auto Group COO Ed Wheaton for panel discussion “Going Beyond Commodity Selling.” The panelists will focus on how to add value for dealership customers, differentiate the business, and drive sustainable profitability.

After the keynote discussion, finalists of the Automotive Amplifiers Contest in the variable operations category will present their submissions to the judges, and winners will be announced at the end of the day. Following the presentations, dealers will have an opportunity to attend an expo of Reynolds products.

There will be two workshop sessions before lunch. For the workshops, guests will choose between a best-practices session to learn about cutting-edge techniques and processes, or a user group session to learn how to get the most out of the Reynolds products they have.

Workshop sessions focused on best practices will explore the topics of:

  • data and security

Meanwhile, workshop sessions for users wanting to get the most out of Reynolds products will discuss:

  • Gubagoo

  • FOCUS CRM

  • accounting

  • finding hidden profits in fixed operations

The lunch session will then begin with presentations from the Automotive Amplifiers Contest finalists for fixed operations. A second keynote session will follow, with special guest Frank Abagnale, who'll discuss cybercrime, identity theft, and scams as he shares strategies to thwart cybercriminals that he uses when training FBI personnel and other law enforcement agencies.

Before the last breakout session of the day, the third and final set of presentations by the Automotive Amplifiers Contest finalists in the community impact category will be held. Then a ceremony announcing the winners in the three award categories will cap off the day and usher in a final opportunity for dealers to visit the expo before the summit ends in the afternoon.

“We want attendees to walk away from this event with as much information as possible,” Walsh said. “There are so many innovations, fresh ideas, and best practices out there. This is an opportunity to see and hear about them firsthand – and perhaps you’ll find one that makes a difference at your dealership. We certainly hope so.”

Registration is still open but filling up fast. Find more details about the Reynolds Retail Summit: Amplify 2024 here.
